Due to factors effecting our filming, we have decided to change our inital idea.
We have decided as our videos have to be in in late December to do a fun video
of a very well known Christmas song by Mariah Carey, All I Want For Christmas Is
You.
Our idea is totally different from our original but the target
audience and feedback we recieved is still the same.
The Plot of out new
video is similar to the video of Nickelback - Rockstar
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1hgVcNzvzY
We
will have different types of people singing, like: friends, family, teachers
etc.
Most of the shots in our shots will be close ups or extreme close
ups, maybe even medium shots if we are filming a group.
I think this
video could be better than our initial idea because we can make it funny and
humorous, with funny christmas outfits or a funny background.

People, costumes and props.
During the first and last sections of our production, only the group of friends will be shown, this will be:
The people at the party will just be in casual clothes. If people are too dressed up, or too dressed down it won't have the same effect. For example, the boys wearing jeans, shirts, t-shirts and jackets, and the girls wearing dresses, or leggins and a top. In the morning people will be wearing the same clothes, giving off the impression they stayed in the clothes, which will also be realistic. I would like to create the effect of a real party which would appeal to viewers, if costumes are wrong this would not be realistic enough and the video wouldn't look right.
The scale of props being used is huge. With the party being in a home, and being in a kitchen and a dining room, household products will be in place. Although we are moving the things out of the dining room so essentially we just have an empty room, the kitchen will still be fully equipped. With everyday domestic items being in sight. Props will also include peoples clothes and bags (depending on where there left), bottles of drink, glasses, cups, party snacks, decorations, speakers, fish bowl and a deck of cards

Risk Assesment
1. Moving the furniture in my house to clear the room for the party could be a risk because we could drop things, break them and maybe hurt our selves. Extra procortions will be took to ensure no one is hurt.
2. Bottles and glasses will be at the party, we need to be careful nothing is smashed and broken.
3. The cameras will be in a high position in the corners Kitchen and Dining room where the party will be, we need to be careful of all cameras so they dont get broken or damaged
4. Weather is not an issue for any of our filming in this production

Storyboard
Filming
Today I will be starting to plan the filming
stages of our production. For the past week I have been working on story boards
and drafting ideas. Before filming I will also need to draft a list of:
- shots being used
- locations
- people in it
- costumes
- and props included.
